Work experience opportunities vary in a number of different ways including when and where the participating young people will work.

When
Workforce Texoma, as part of a comprehensive year-round program, offers summer employment opportunities for area youth. Work experience opportunities are also available at other times during the year under certain circumstances.

Where
Work experience opportunities are provided at both public sector (governmental entities, non-profit organizations, schools, etc.) and private sector (for-profit companies) sites. Young people participating in work experience are assigned to supervisors specially trained to help teach them appropriate work habits and job skills.
